Haryana Roadways Bus Pass Application:
Instructions regarding issue of Bus Passes to the General Public:
1.Computerised Passes will be issued which will have hologram from the security point of view, different colours for different duration of passes with the expiry date mentioned on the top with bold and large fonts, the pass will have a photograph of the applicant, the names of both the Stations between which the pass is valid will be mentioned prominently on the pass, the duration of the pass will be specified.

2.All the above mentioned information will be asked from the applicant in an application form which will be given free of cost. The specimen of this form has already been supplied. The applicant for the bus pass can deposit the dully filled application form in the office of GM HR in whose jurisdiction either the starting point or the destination point falls, on any working day between 10.00 A.M to 3.00 P.M. Along with the application form, the applicant would deposit the amount chargeable for the specific bus pass which is reiterated as under :-
A. For one month passes 40 single fares
B. For Three month passes110 single fares
C. For Six month passes200 single fares

The fare would be charged as applicable on the date of issue or date of renewal of the bus pass. Along with the above mentioned amount chargeable for issue of specific bus pass, the applicant would deposit an additional amount of Rs.15/- as cost of card and the processing fee(The cost of card which includes the paper, lamination, application form cost Rs.10/- and Rs. 5/- is processing fee). The processing fee of Rs.5/- will not be charged if the renewal is got made within 3 days after expiry of the pass.

3.This bus pass may be got issued from any point in Haryana to any destination within Haryana, including Delhi & Chandigarh. However, the minimum charges shall not be less than 10 Kms single side.

4.These passes shall be valid only in Standard Buses and Haryana Uday Buses (CNG Standard Buses).

5.On the reverse side of bus pass, instructions for users of such passes would be mentioned and the user will have to abide these instructions which are as under :-
a.This bus pass is non transferable and non refundable.
b.This bus pass must be produced on demand by conductor / checking staff.
c.In case of loss, duplicate pass will be issued by depositing/charging 50% penalty amount for the balance period.
d.This bus pass must be carried in original and in no case photocopy will be accepted.
e.This pass can not be used as identity proof for any purpose.

At the same time, some instructions are exclusively for all the GMs of Haryana Roadways at depot level.

These instructions would be :-
1.The GMs should take all possible steps to ensure that these bus passes are issued on the same day after receiving the application from the applicant, and if for any reason, they are unable to issue bus passes on the same day, then the bus pass should be issued on the next working day. For this, the GMs may provide the requisite staff alongwith coloured Printer, Scanner, paper cutter and lamination machines, stationery, application forms etc.
2.All GMs would nominate at least two Officers who would be authorised to sign said bus passes and he will ensure that one out of the two such nominated/authorised Officers should be available for signing the said bus passes.
3.The clear directions may be issued to the checking staff / conductor to accept these passes and to allow seat No. etc. at the time of advance booking of the buses and in no way these pass holders be discriminated against. Instructions may also be issued to all the conductors to check the pass of each and every pass holders very carefully otherwise he will be held responsible.
4.The hardware such as computer, color printer, scanner as well as lamination machine are available in all the depots as they are being already used for issuance of student bus passes. However, if at any stage, the concerned GM feels the necessity to purchase any of these required items for issuance of bus passes, they may do so at their own level under intimation to the head office. However, the holograms are to be supplied from H.Q. as per requisition.
