The Dayalbagh Educational Institute is a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 as per Notification No. F.9-3/78-U-3 dated 16.5.81 issued by the then Ministry of Education & Culture, Government of India.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following posts. The preferred areas of specialisations are indicated in Italics (Numbers suffixing the post in bracket show the number of post).

1.Name of the post : Principal
Pay Scale : (Rs.15600-39100) (Grade Pay Rs.7600);
Minimum Qualifications, Experience :
Trained* Postgraduate Degree in any discipline with atleast 4 years teaching experience in classes 9 to 12 in any recognised institution/university. However, Assistant teachers having atleast Second Class postgraduate degree and specialised teaching experience of ten years in Intermediate classes may be exempted from training qualifications. He should not be below 30 years. OR
First or Second Class postgraduate degree in any discipline with atleast 10 years teaching experience in intermediate classes of any recognised institution/university.
*”Trained” means postgraduate training qualification such as L.T., B.T., B.Ed. or M.Ed. of any university or any equivalent Degree.

2. Name of the post : Lecturer (Computer Science; Commerce; Zoology; Social Science/Vocational Education; Drawing)
Pay Scale : (Rs.9300-34800) (Grade Pay Rs.4800);
Minimum Qualifications, Experience : Master’s degree in relevant subject.
Desirable: B.Ed. or equivalent

3. Name of the post : Assistant Teacher (Hindi; Maths; Social Science; Science
Pay Scale : (Rs.9300-34800) (Grade Pay Rs.4600);
Minimum Qualifications, Experience : Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with B.Ed. or equivalent degree.

4.Name of the post : Assistant Clerk
Pay Scale : (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.2000);
Graduation/ Intermediate with first division/Intermediate or equivalent with atleast two years office experience. Knowledge of English & Hindi typing desirable.

5.Name of the post : Clerk
Pay Scale :(Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Minimum Qualifications, Experience : Graduation/ Intermediate with first division/Intermediate or equivalent with atleast two years office experience. Knowledge of English & Hindi typing desirable.

For D.E.I Technical College:
6.Name of the post : Assistant Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering
Pay Scale : (Rs.9300-34800) (Grade Pay Rs.4200);
Minimum Qualifications, Experience :Diploma in relevant Engineering subject with three years relevant experience or Degree in relevant Engineering subject.

How to Apply :
i) Prescribed application forms and particulars of pay scales, qualifications, experience etc. can be obtained from the office of the REGISTRAR of the Institute on payment of Rs 50/- each (Rs.25/- for reserved post) mentioned under sections (A) above and Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above, at the Institute counter or by post by sending requisite cost of application form through Demand Draft alongwith a self addressed and stamped envelope of size 22×10 cms. with postal stamps of Rs.10/- for ordinary post or Rs.45/- for Registered /Speed post.

ii) Applications complete in all respects along with enclosures and registration fee of Rs 75/- each (Rs.37.50 for reserved post) mentioned under sections (A) above and Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above must reach the Registrar of the Institute latest by 24.02.2014(Monday). Separate application shall be submitted for each post.
