1) Name of the Post: Assistant Professor Special Education (V.I.)

Age Limit: 40 Years.
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 6000
Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed. Special Education (V.I.) with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7-points scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D./M. Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
2. Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of visual disability or 3 years of teaching experience at the Diploma level.
(2) Name of Post: Research Officer

Essential Qualifications:
1. Atleast a IInd Class Master’s Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Any other discipline of Social Science of recognized University.
2. Five years experience in Research/Investigation in the field of social work or Rehabilitation of the Handicapped.
Desirable: 1. Experience in conducting Social Surveys, preparation and formulation of Projects.
(3) Name of the Post: Reader

Consolidated Honorarium: Rs.50,000/- only with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:
i) Good academic record with a Ph.D in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline
ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks(or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
iii) A minimum of eight years experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
(4) Name of the Post: Adjunct Professor

Consolidated Honorarium: Rs.20,000/- only with no other allowances.
Essential Qualifications:
i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/ College and or experience in Research at the University/National level institutions/Inudstries including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctrol level..
iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process. OR
An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
(5) Name of the Post : PGT (Music)

Essential Qualifications :
1. M.A. (Music) or M. (Music) of any recognized University. OR Sangeet Alankar (M.Music) from All India Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai 08 years. OR Sangeet Kovid (M.Music) Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Kheragharh 08 years. OR Sangeet Praveen (M.Music) the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad 08 years. OR Sangeet Nipun (M.Music) the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow 07 years. OR Any degree which may be considered recognized by the body constituted by the University concerned.
For the Teachers recruited before 31st March, 1974 (Class II) :
i) Higher Secondary with any of the following: (i) Sangeet Visharad Examination of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. (ii) Sangeet Vid Examination of the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Kehragarh (M.P.) (iii) The Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of the Pryag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music) Allahbad. (iv) Sangeet Visharad Examination of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow (previously Morris College of Hindustani Music, Lucknow). (v)* Final Examination of the Madhava Sangeet Mhavidyalaya, Lashkar, Gwalior. (vi)* Highest Examination of Baroda State School of Music. (vii)* The final examination of Shankar Ghandharwa Vidhyalaya, Gwalior. (viii)* Sangeet Ratna Diploma awarded by the Director, Deptt. of Education, M.P. OR* The new diploma/degree awarded by the concerned Institutions/agencies in lieu thereof.
ii) In addition to the above at least 10 years experience of teaching music to higher Secondary Classes in the number School of Board.
(6) Name of Post: SUPW Teacher

Age Limit: 35 Years
Essential Qualifications:
i) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum one year Diploma in Computer applications and programming Skills including knowledge of popular screen reading softwares and hardwares for Braille printing.
ii) One year experience as Computer Instructor/Teacher of Visually Handicapped.
Desirable : i) Knowledge of Standard English Braille and Bharati Braille Hindi.
(7) Name of Post: Lady Supervisor

Age Limit: 45 years
Essential Qualifications:
1) Intermediate or equivalent;
2) Diploma in Nursing; Or
Diploma in Special Education (VI) for Primary Teachers; Or
Bachelor in Mobility Science from a recognized Institute affiliated to Nursing Council or RCI as the case be
3) Two years experience in nursing or 2 years in Hostel Management.
(8) Name of Post: Handicraft Instructor (Misc.)

Essential Qualifications:
1. High School or equivalent.
2. Diploma or certificate in candle making, Nylon and Plastic work and Soap Making.
Fee : Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- (non refundable) drawn in favour of the Director, NIVH, payable at Dehradun must accompany with the application without which the application will not be considered. The SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates are required to submit DD of Rs. 100/- only. Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from above fee.
