Applications are invited from qualified Indian Citizens belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes in the State of Kerala for appointment to the post of Section Officer/Court Officer in the High Court of Kerala.
Name of the post: Section Officer/Court Officer
Scale of pay : `18740 – 33680
Number of vacancies: 1 (One).
Method of appointment: Direct recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates only).
Mode of Selection: Selection will be on the basis of written test and interview. The syllabus for the written test will be General Knowledge, English, the Limitation Act, 1963 and the Kerala Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1959.
Age Limit: Candidates should have been born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/1996(both days inclusive).
Qualification: Law degree or Judicial Test (Higher)
Note: The candidates appointed to the service will have to acquire the following qualification within the period of probation;
1. High Court Office Procedure Test and 2. Account Test (Lower)

Note :
1. The candidates should have acquired the qualification prescribed on or before the last date fixed for receipt of applications. Candidates possessing Law degree which is not awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala should obtain certificate of recognition of their Law degree from any of the Universities in Kerala and keep it with them. The certificate of recognition of Law degree should be produced as and when called for, failure of which will entail in cancellation of candidature.
2. The candidates should send along with the application self attested copies of Degree/Provisional certificates to prove their qualification. Mark lists will not be accepted as proof of qualification. Application not accompanied by proof of qualification will be rejected.
3. Documents to prove age, caste/tribe etc., should be produced as and when called for.
4. The candidates should affix their passport size photograph (taken within the last six months) at the space provided for in the application form and sign across it. Applications received without signature on the photograph affixed will be rejected.
