Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the posts of Medical Officers, Specialist—District Medical Officer(NCD), Counselor & Staff Nurse under NPCDCS & Consultant Medicine, Rehabilitation Worker & Staff Nurse under

NPHCE for a period for 1 year on Contractual basis.

Under NPCDCS Programme :
1 Name of the post: Medical Officer (NCD)
No. of post : 14 [CHC-Gownpalli, Bethmangala, Mulbagal, Bangarpet, Annavatti, Ayanur, Anandapuram, Sagara, Hosanagara, Thirthahalli, Kannangi, Bhadravathi, Holehonur & Shiral koppa (1 each)]
Essential qualifications:
1) MBBS or equivalent degree from institutions recognized by Medical Council of India.
2) Must have completed compulsory internship.
Desirable : At least 2 years experience of working in a hospital.
Age Limit: 40 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/m0nth (consolidated).

2 Name of the post: Specialist-District Medical Officer (NCD)
No. of post : 5 [District Hospital-Udupi, Tumkur, Kolar, Shimoga & Chikamagalur 1 each)
Essential qualifications: MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institutions recognized by Medical Council of India.
Desirable :
1) DM or equivalent degree in Cardiology
2) At least 2 years experience of working as specialist/super specialist in a hospital.
Age Limit: 50 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 to Rs.70000/- per month (consolidated) for Physician & Rs.80,000 to Rs.90,000/- per month for DM(Cardiology).

3 Name of the post: Counsellor
No. of post : 3 [District Hospital-Kola, Chikamagalur & CHC Gownpalli (kolar Dist)(1 each)
Essential qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or Degree / Diploma in counseling/ Health Education/Mass Communication.
Desirable : At least 2 years experience of working in a health care facility.
Age Limit: 40 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 12,000 / month (consolidated).

4 Name of the post:Staff Nurse
No. of post : 6 [District Hospital- Chikamagalur, Udupi & Tumkur (2 each)]
Essential qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing / Diploma in Nursing
Desirable : At least 2 years experience of working in Cardiac Care Unit/NCD Clinic/daycare Chemotherapy Center / Palliative Care.
Age limit : 40 Years
Remuneration: Rs. 8,000/month (consolidated).

Under NPHCE Programme :
1 Name of the post:Consultant Medicine

Essential Qualifications : MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
Desirable : At least 2 years experience of working as a specialist in a hospital.
Age Limit: 50 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- month (consolidated).

2.Name of the post: Rehabilitation Worker
No. of post :13 [CHC-Gownpalli, Mulbagal, Annavatti, Ayanur, Anandapuram, Sagara, Hosanagara, Thirthahalli, Kannangi, Bhadravathi, Holehonur ,Shiralkoppa & Soraba (1 each)]
Essential qualifications:
1) 10+2 or equivalent qualification.
2) One year certificate course/Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation worker(DMRW) or Community Based Rehabilitation Worker(DCBR) from a recognized institute
3) Registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992. Or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy(B.P.T)
(If, B.P.T candidates are selected for the post of Rehabilitation Worker, they should work as Rehabilitation Worker.)
Desirable : At least 1 year experience of working in a hospital.
Age Limit: 40 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- month (consolidated).

3 Name of the post: Staff Nurse

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing
Desirable: At least 2 years experience of working in hospital
Age limit : 40 Years
Remuneration: Rs.8000/- per month(Consolidated)
