Qualifications and skills :
i) Doctoral Degree in the field of Science / Life Sciences / Social Science / economics / development/International policy with relevant focus on natural resource management or Master Degree in Law/Masters degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
ii) At least 7 years experience in Programme management / Policy / Project formulation and organizational skills.
iii) At least 5 years of working experiences in the area of biodiversity / environmental policy related issues and Multilateral Environmental Agreements.
2.Name of the post : Consultant – Capacity Building, Awareness Raising and Communications

Qualifications and skills
i) A Master’s degree in Mass Communication/ Visual Arts/Science/Management;
ii) At least 5-7 years of progressive work experience on issues of communication, capacity building and awareness raising;
iii) At least 2-3 years of experience working on issues of capacity building, awareness raising and communicating in the area of environment and biodiversity;
iv) Proven skills in development and dissemination of material on technical and legal issues;
v) Good technical skills in computer programmes, including those related to social networks and organization of webinars and on-line discussion meetings and conferences;
vi) Proven skills in working with diverse stakeholder groups and imparting training on biodiversity related issues will be preferred; and
vii) Proven language skills to communicate and develop material independently in Hindi and at least one another regional language.
3.Name of the post : Consultant – Biodiversity Policy

iii) At least 2-3 years of direct work experience on reviewing, developing and revising biodiversity policies at national, regional and international levels;
iv) Proven skills to write reports, policy analyses and reviews;
v) Proven ability to undertake independent review of biodiversity policy at various levels; and Skills to train colleagues and SBBs on biodiversity policy issues.

ii) At least 2-3 years of experience in dealing with multilateral environmental agreements, such as the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) and others;

iii) Proven skills and / or familiarity with handling international projects / programmes will be preferred;
iv) Proven time-management, organizational and inter-personal skills;
v) Excellent computer literacy relating to accountancy;
vi) Experience in government rules and accounting procedures will be desirable.

ii) At least 4 to 6 years experience in design & development of computer applications in an organization of repute; Knowledge of Mobile application development is desirable;
iii) Should have skills in database management;
iv) Should have skills in web site maintenance, data backup & restoration activities
v) Should have creativity and imagination
vi) Must be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
vii) Knowledge in LAN/WAN, Virtual Private Network, Storage, Servers, Leased Line Environment
viii) Proven time-management, organizational and inter-personal skills;
ix) Experience in government rules and procedures will be desirable.
x) Facilitate web conferences, webinars, with experts from different countries / research organizations.
xi) Facilitate and disseminate information related to biodiversity policy and law related issues through a dynamic website.
