Admission Notification for B.Ed. (Kashmir) Course-2014 :
Online Applications are invited from permanent residents of J&K State who are eligible and desirous of appearing in the Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed. Course (Kashmir) for the Academic Session 2014-15 in the Government College of Education, M.A. Road, Srinagar. The selection of candidates will be governed by the rules and guidelines as contained in the Electronic Information Brochure available on the official website of the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations-2014.

Availability of Online Application forms :
The Application can be submitted online only through BOPEE’s official website jakbopee.org or https://www.jkbopee.gov.in/ or jkbopee.in from 27th of ;January to 10th of February, 2014. The fee for online submission is Rs. 1300/= (Rupees one thousand three hundred only) which can be submitted in the form of Bank Draft favouring FA/CAO BOPEE, payable at Srinagar/Jammu or Customised Bank Receipt of transfer of the said amount in the BOPEE’s HDFC Bank Account No. 50100006864332 specified on the online available/generated Customised Bank Receipt at the beginning/end of submission of online form.

The Online Rehearsal Facility for submission of application forms will also be available/generated from 25th to 26th of January 2014.

The applicants are advised to fill the online application forms on their own or through a responsible person in their presence. Applicants who don’t have internet facility may avail this facility at the Help Desk of I.T. Section of BOPEE with prior telephonic appointment, on nominal fee of Rs. 100/=, on all working days. They also are advised to get along with them all the required documents in original so that they may submit online application form complete in all respects on the same day at the respective offices.

Receipt of Online Application Forms :
The Confirmation Page for online application forms along with prescribed photographs, required certificates and bank draft/bank challan shall be received at Jammu and Srinagar offices of The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on all working days from 27th of January to 10th of February, 2014.

The Candidates who fail to deposit their Confirmation Page of Online Application Form complete in all respects by 12th of February 2014 up to 4:00 P.M. shall have to pay a late fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) through non-refundable bank draft drawn in favour of the FA/CAO, BOPEE payable at Jammu/ Srinagar or Customised Bank Receipt of transfer of the said amount in the BOPEE’s HDFC Bank Account No 50100006864332 specified on the Bank Receipt, on 13th and 15th of February, 2014 where after no online application form will be accepted whether submitted by hand or by post.

Eligibility conditions for appearing in the Entrance Test :
I. The candidate must:-
a. be a permanent resident of J&K State;
b. have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/BCA/BBA(Final) or equivalent Examination under 10+2+3 pattern from recognised University.

II. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear in the entrances test, provided they submit their marks card by the time of issuance of admit card for the test. An affidavit to this effect has to be submitted along with application form.

III. Candidates applying under Open Merit Category must have obtained not less than 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination and candidates applying under Reserved Categories must have secured 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Documents to be enclosed with Confirmation Page (Attested Photostat Copies) :
I. Date of Birth (Matriculation Certificate/Secondary School Certificate) from the Board of School Education.
II. “Permanent Resident of J&K State” Certificate/State Subject Certificate.
III. Relevant category certificate in case of candidates seeking admission under any of the reserved categories.
IV. Marks sheet of B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com/BCA/BBA Final under 10+2+3 pattern.

The Application Form with “under process certificate” or incomplete form shall not be entertained and in the absence of valid reserved category certificate, the candidate shall be considered in Open Merit category; if otherwise eligible for the same. Selected candidates shall have to produce all the certificates in original at the time of admission or as and when asked for by the BOPEE/College/University.
