The All India Pre -Veterinary Test (AIPVT)-2014 shall be an objective type (multiple choice and reason assertion type) examination to be held on 10.05.2014 (Saturday) from 2 to 5 P.M. at designated centres in the country for admission to Veterinary Colleges (B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course) under 15% quota to be filled by the Veterinary Council of India. The details are given under respective titles in this Bulletin.

Age : He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2014. Candidates attaining seventeen Years on 1st of January, 2015 or later will not be eligible to appear at the Entrance Examination.

Essential Qualification: He/She has passed:-
(i) The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
OR
(ii) The Intermediate Science examination in science from a recognized University/Board with Physics,Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English.

COST AND MODE OF SALE OF INFORMATION BULLETIN AND APPLICATION FORM :
(i) The Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained between 6th January to 12th February, 2014 by post on payment of Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST Category through Demand Draft in favour of ”Veterinary Council of India-Examination Fund, New Delhi” Payable at New Delhi, from the office of the Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi – 110066.

(ii) The Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained between 6th January to 12th February, 2014 by hand against Cash payment from the following branches of Vijaya Bank (Rs. 1500/- in case of General Category/OBC and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST Category)

ALL INDIA PRE-VETERINARY TEST-2014 SHALL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, THE 10th MAY, 2014 (2.00 TO 5.00 P.M.).
Two boxes at the top of Application Form are for office use only. Candidates are advised not to write anything in these boxes.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Candidates can submit applications for AIPVT-2014 “Offline” on prescribed Application Form.
2. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin.
3. Hindi version of Information Bulletin is available on the website vciaipvt-2014.in
4. Candidates must retain the Application Form number and photocopy of filled in Application Form with them as reference for future correspondence.

5. (a) Please ensure before mailing the Application by Post that:
(I) The columns in the Form are filled up with darkening of the circles wherever applicable
(II) The applicant has signed and put the clear thumb impression (Left thumb for Male & Right thumb for Female) on the Form at specified place.
(III) One good contrast black & white passport size photograph (taken on or after 06.01.2014) is duly pasted in the space earmarked for it.
(b) Use the enclosed addressed envelope for dispatch of Application.

6. Candidates must preserve the Admit Card and 6 (six) photographs as pasted in Application Form till admission. The photographs should be taken without caps, sunglasses etc. Scanned photographs shall not be accepted.

7. It is mandatory for the candidate to bring his/her Black & White postcard size(3½” X 5”) photograph as pasted on the Application Form to the Examination Hall. On the reverse side of the photograph, candidate must mention his/her Name, Application Form number and Roll Number of AIPVT Examination. Also, the candidate should sign on the reverse side of the Photograph in the presence of the invigilator.This photograph will be collected by the Invigilator concerned after matching the photograph with the candidate appearing in the AIPVT Examination. Candidates who do not bring this photograph, will not be allowed seat in the examination/shall lead to his/her disqualification.

8. Retain postal receipt of dispatch of the Application.
9. The candidates should report at the Examination Centres at least two hours before the start of examination for identification & Admit Card verification.
10. In case a candidate is found to be providing wrong/incorrect information or his identity is proved to be false any time in future, he/she shall be liable to penal action as per the law.

LAST DATE FOR SALE OF INFORMATION BULLETIN AND RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS :
The last date for sale of Information Bulletin and Application Form by Hand/Post/Bank is 12th February, 2014.
The last date of submission of duly filled Application Form is 18th February, 2014 (5.00P.M.). Application received after 18th February, 2014 shall not be considered.
