The State Project Management Unit (SPMU) is required to be established in the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha for implementation of the GEF-UNIDO funded MoEF project on Environmentally Sound Management of Medical Waste. The structure of the SPMU was placed before the 107th Board meeting held on dtd.23.11.2013 and the same has been approved by the Board. In the structure of SPMU, the Member Secretary of the Board is the Nodal Officer and Dr. D. K. Behera, SES (L-1) is the State Project Coordinator. The following posts will be recruited on contractual basis.
01.Name of the Post : Project Scientist

Fixed Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- per month (Fixed)
Qualification : B.E. in Environmental Engineering or Biotechnology.

Fixed Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- per month (Fixed)
Qualification : M.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, Life Science, Microbiology or Environmental Science.
02.Name of the Post : Administrative Assistant

Fixed Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- per month (Fixed)
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to Computer literate
03.Name of the Post : Office Attendant
No. of post : 01
Fixed Remuneration : Rs.5,000/- permonth (Fixed)
Qualification : 10th Pass
