Registration Fee :
Rs. 200/- per event per participant. Duly filled Registration forms, forwarded through the Head of the Institute, should th reach us on or before 15 January, 2014 along with a Local At Par Cheque / D.D. / Consolidated Demand Draft in favor of “Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University”, payable at Ahmedabad.

Quiz – A & Quiz – B :
** Each team will comprise two (2) members.
** Elimination rounds will be conducted before the finals of Quiz-A & Quiz –B, separately, if required.
** The four highest scoring teams from the elimination rounds for Quiz-A & Quiz B will qualify for the final rounds of Quiz-A & Quiz B respectively.
** The number of rounds may vary in elimination rounds depending upon the number of teams.
** Answers first spoken by team will be considered final.
** In case of any discrepancies the decision of quiz masters and judges would be considered final.
** The rounds in either the elimination or final quiz could be a mixture of various rounds like Passable, Non Passable, Buzzer, Rapid Fire, Audio-Visual and similar rounds.
** New rounds could be introduced for finals of Quiz-A & Quiz-B respectively.
Cartoon Competition :
** A team will consist of 02 (Two) participants.
** The Topic / Subject for the cartoon competition will be displayed on website : (nirmauni.ac.in) on 8th February 2014 after 13.00 hours.
** Participants will have to draw the cartoon on the day of the competition.
** Pencils for drawing and colour pencils / chalk colours for colouring will only be permitted.
** The cartoon may include text matter.
** Duration of the competition will be 2 hours.
** Drawing sheets will be provided at the time of competition; the size of which will be half imperial (22’ x 30’).
** Participants will have to bring all other requirements for the competition.
** Judgment shall be based on the concept, humour involved and drawing.
Pharma News Editing Competition : (documentary Motion Picture)
Topic will be announced on website : nirmauni.ac.in Maximum 4 (Four) candidates will be allowed to participate as one team; one faculty member from respective institute must be the additional team member for the guidance purpose only.
** The total video presentation will be of 5-8 mins duration. Background narrators will not be allowed to narrate at the time of presentation from the stage. Hence, the presentation must be self explanatory enough and must be relevant to the topic.
** The presentation must contain text (background motion picture/still photos are allowed) in title page, including the names of presenting members, faculty member and name of the institute. Any others acknowledgments will be allowed.
** The presentation should contain following parts : introduction, real problems, proposed solutions, conclusion (Social message).
** The presentation must be motion picture (Audio and Video combined file), the acceptable file formats are .avi, .mpeg, .mp4, audio/video file for windows.
** The presentation could be multi-colour / black and white / grey pictures. Subtitles in Hindi, Gujarati or English (any one language) will be allowed.
** The presentations should not contain any type of nude pictures, nuisance dialogues / words or any type of porn materials.
** Any type of copyright materials including internet downloaded material directly or indirectly will not be allowed in the presentation.
** Any persons / company / family name, identification pictures / symbols / landmarks should not be included without prior permission. If they are included, the team will be responsible for any copyright issues arising there from.
** Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University will not be responsible for any type of legal issues arising during any stage of the competition.
** Every team should submit their presentation on or before 1st February, 2014 in a CD / DVD, containing proper label, name of team members and name of Institute with full address.
** The organizing committee members will verify all requirements and then permit the final presentation in front of the judges and audience.
** No changes can be made in the presentation after the submission.
** A team could be disqualified at any stage following non-compliance with the rules.
** Judgment will base on content, quality of presentation, including audio & video and text matter.
Pharma Skit :
** Topic of the Pharma Skit will be displayed on our website nirmauni.ac.in on 16th January 2014 after 13.00 hours.
** Duration : Maximum 8 minutes.
** A maximum of 06 participants are allowed to participate as a team.
** Language of the skit may be Gujarati/ Hindi/ English.
** Script of the skit in hard copy must be submitted to the event committee latest by 27th January 2014.
** Script should not be vulgar or abusive and should not be humiliating to anyone.
** Screening will be done based on the submitted script and the selected scripts will be listed on our website nirmauni.ac.in on 30th January 2014 after 13.00 hours.
** Any deviation from the submitted script will result in elimination of the entry at the time of presentation.
** Use of Make – up, drapery or / and background music is allowed.
** No personal remarks, aspirations, character assassination etc. is allowed.
** Judgment will be based on qualities of the skit like acting skills, stage crafting, total design and general impression.
** General requirements like tables & chairs, collar mike will be provided. Team members has to bring their own special requirements if any.
