How To Get New License /Renewal of License?
A person who intends to set up a trade for the following trades can apply for a Health Trade License.

4. Guidelines/Rules for Health Trade License Processing :
Issue of New License :
License Validity Period :
1 Year and valid up to 31st March of the Financial Year and 3 year for Regular License of Lodging houses and restaurants.

Charges associated with the License :
1. Application/Processing Fees – will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for New Health Trade License
2. Registration Charges – will be collected only for approved applications.
3. License Fee – are the annual license fee and will be collected only for approved applications.
4. Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction (registration charges + license fee).

Rs. 10/- for the transactions above Rs. 500-00 and below Rs.1,00,000-00
Rs. 100/- for the transactions above Rs.1,00,000/-

Documents are to be Submitted for Obtaining Health Trade License :

4 Key plan blue print (Layout plan) prepared by registered architect showing location of premises
5 Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs.10/- regarding unauthorized construction as per format.
6 Indemnity Bond on non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs.100/- as per format
7 Structural stability certificate duly signed by structural engineer
8 Water paid bill
9 Electricity paid bill
10 Proof of sewer connection
11 Letter from Delhi Police (for swimming pools, cinema halls, guest houses/hotels)
12 Water testing reports from authorized lab & source of water supply (where Delhi Jal Board is not supplying water)
13 Building Sanction Plan & completion plan along with completion certificate for issue of regular license
14 NOC from fire department / fire extinguisher for guset houses cinema/auditorium restaurants having more than 50 seats
15 Proof of notification of notified commercial/mixed use of road under mixed land use as per MPD 2021 and proof of payment of conversion charges, parking charges and registration charges.
16 Property Tax Receipts/Proof (if applicant is owner)
17 Lal Dora certificate (for lal dora only)
18 Medical fitness certificate of workers and typhoid vacation certificate of workers. (added)

Renewal of Licenses :
License Validity Period :
1. One Year and valid up to 31st March of the Financial Year and 3 year for regular license of Lodging houses and restaurants.
2. Applicants can renew the license up to three years for the trades under Conforming Area.
License Renewal Period and Late Fee Charges :
1. Valid (non-expired) Licenses can be renewed in the month of March and April only without any late fees. In other words, the Licenses can be renewed prior to 30 days from the date of expiry and within one month after expiry without any late fee.
2. Expired Licenses renewed after 30th April and within 1 year from date of expiry of license -Late Fee Charges AT 5% of License Fee per month will be collected.
3. Expired Licenses renewed after 1 year – Late Fee Charges will be double the Annual License Fee for every expired year + 5% of License Fee per month for part months, if any.
(i.e. Late Fee = License Fee X 2 X No. of years + (5% of License Fee X part months), if any)
Charges associated with the Renewal of License :
For Category 1 Trades (Refer the Table : Allowed Trades):
The Licenses under Category 1 will be renewed automatically on paying the following licensing charges at CSB counters.
1. Application/Processing Fees – NIL
2. Registration Charges – NIL
3. License Renewal Fee – Annual license fee ( as mentioned in the table : Allowed Trades) + 50% of the annual license fee towards renewal processing charges.
4. Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction (license fee + late fee, if any).
Rs. 5/- for the transactions upto Rs. 500-00
Rs. 10/- for the transactions above Rs. 500-00 and below Rs.1,00,000-00
Rs. 100/- for the transactions above Rs.1,00,000/-
For Category 2 Trades (Refer the Table : Allowed Trades):
1. Application/Processing Fees – will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Renewal of Health Trade License
2. Registration Charges – NIL
3. License Renewal Fee – Annual license fee ( as mentioned in the table : Allowed Trades) will be collected only for approved applications.
4. Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction ( license fee + late fee, if any).

Amendment of Health Trade Licenses :
Allowed Amendments in the License :
Name of the Business/Shop, Owner/Partner Names and Constitution of .the Business Establishment (such as Proprietorship, Partnership, Pvt Ltd and Public Ltd).
In case of Eating and Lodging/Boarding Establishments, capacity can be increased
Charges associated with the Amendment of Licenses :
1. Application/Processing Fees – Rs.250-00 + Rs 5-00 towards Transaction Charges will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Amendment of Health Trade License
2. Registration Charges – NIL
3. Amendment Fee – will be decided by MCD officials depending on the Type of Amendment at the time of approval of the application.
4. Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction (Amendment fee).

Issue of Duplicate Licenses :
Charges associated with the Issue of Duplicate of Licenses :
1. Application/Processing Fees – Rs.25-00 + Rs 5-00 towards Transaction Charges will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Duplicate copy of Health Trade License
2. Registration Charges – NIL
3. Duplicate License Fee – Rs. 100-00 + Rs. 5-00 towards transaction charges will be collected for issue of Duplicate License Certificate.
4. Transaction Charges – These charges will be collected for approved applications and the charges will be depending on the size of transaction (Duplicate License Fee).

Rs. 10/- for the transactions above Rs. 500-00 and below Rs.1,00,000-00

Surrender of Health Trade Licenses :
Licenses can be surrendered only after clearing all the license dues, if any. In other words, applicants can file the applications for surrender of license only after clearing renewal dues if any.
Charges associated with Surrender of Health Trade Licenses :
1. Application/Processing Fees – Rs.250-00 + Rs 5-00 towards Transaction Charges will be collected at the time of Submission of Application Form for Surrender of Health Trade License
