YENEPOYA PREMIER LEAGUE CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2013-14 :
Yenepoya Premier League Cricket Tournament for students is scheduled to be held from 6th to 15th February 2014 at Soccer ground Yenepoya University Campus.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Limited over match (league cum knock out tournament)
2. All league matches – 7 over’s for a team. Team should report in the prescribed time and each innings should be completed in 30 minutes, otherwise penalty as per the decision of umpires.
3. Umpires decision will be final in all matters.
4. Power play – first 2 over’s. Only 2 fielders are allowed in the boundary area.
5. Team shall be consisting of 15 members.
6. No lbw, No Leg byes otherwise as per KCA rules are followed
7. Minimum of 5 bowlers must be used in a match, in which 2 bowlers are allowed for 2 over’s.
8. The organizing secretary reserves the rights to Debar the team against any technical fouls (misbehavior & misconduct, between the team member, against opposite team or against umpires on the field)
9. Team should report 15 minutes before the scheduled match time. If not reported after 5 minutes of scheduled time the reported team will be declared as winner
10. No changes are allowed in the given team list. if the committee notices any player playing in the team whose name is not in the team list, team will be debarred from further matches.
11. Teams are not allowed to use any type of vehicles for the purpose of entering in the match / tournament.
12. Tennis ball will be used for the matches.
13. Discipline will be strictly maintained throughout the tournament.
14. P.G’s, Interns and Students are not allowed to combine the team.
15. 2 matches in working day (Sunday – 6 & Friday – 3 Matches)
First session: 4.15 to 5.15 pm
Second session: 5.20 to 6.20 pm
16. Team should be ready to play the matches as per the decision of the department against any weather changes.
17. March past is compulsory for all the participating team, should bring a team flag, dress code (uniform colour) is must. Debar the team if not participating in the march past.
18. The organizing secretary reserves the rights to make changes in the programme, the venues, time and dates of the matches, if necessary. The decision of the committee will be final on all matters.
