Sportsmen who have any of the following sports achievement in the respective games;
Represented the Country in Olympics Games (OR)
Atleast 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/Senior Category), World Championships(Junior/Senior Category), Asian Games(Senior Category), Common Wealth Games(Senior Category)
Grade Pay Rs.1900 in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 : Sportsmen who have any of the following sports achievement in the respective games;
Represented the country in the International Championships (World cup (Junior/Senior Category), World championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian games(Senior Category), Common wealth games(Senior Category) (OR)
At least 3rd Position in Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). (OR)
At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. (OR)
At least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association. (OR)
At least 3rd Position in All India Inter-University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR)
1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category

Sportsmen who have any of the following sports achievement in the respective games;
Represented the country in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category) (OR)
At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) (OR)
Represented a State or Equivalent unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR)
At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State
Age Limit : Age as on 01/01/2014 should be between 18-25 years
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
01. Senior Clerk : A degree from a recognised University Typewriting proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi
02. Junior Clerk : Matriculation or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.*
03. Technician Gr.II & Gr.III : Course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI in the relevant trade
04. Posts with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- : 10th Std Pass or ITI or equivalent
Fee : Rs. 40/- (Rs.60/- for applicants to posts of Grade Pay Rs.2800/-)
Demand Draft/ Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ICF payable at Chennai.
Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order.
Mode of Selection for Sportspersons : Selection will consist of trial followed by a personal interview. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be subjected to the selection process. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates when they are called for the selection process. Only those candidates who are declared FIT in the trial will be called for interview.
How to Apply :
i) The application format is also available in the ICF website.
ii) Attested photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed.
i. Proof of Educational Qualification/Technical Qualification/Typing qualification (if any).
ii. Proof of Date of Birth {any one of Birth Certificate, Std X- TC, Matric mark list}.
iii. Transfer Certificate /School Leaving Certificate (last studied).
iv. SC/ST/OBC certificate in the format as prescribed in the Central Government order. If proof is not enclosed such candidates will be considered as Unreserved candidates, provided fee is paid, otherwise application will be rejected.
v. Department / Government service candidates must enclose a No Objection Certificate from the employer.
vi. Necessary testimonials concerning the Sports activities up to the date of application.
vii. A valid disability certificate (PWD).
iii) The application should be sent along with the above enclosures, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. On top of the envelope “Application for Sports Recruitment – Category” should be written in Block letters and write the category applied for. It should be addressed to the
