Applications are invited for the Entrance Examinations for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for 2014-15.
(a) Medical (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS (iv) BAMS (v) BSMS
(b) Agriculture (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry
(c) Veterinary BVSc. & AH
(d) Fisheries BFSc.
(e) Engineering B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.), B.Tech. (Food Engg.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University and B.Tech. (Dairy Science & Tech.) under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University]
(f) Architecture B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on NATA Score)

Academic Qualification :
(a) Medical & Allied Courses :
(i)For MBBS, BDS, BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(ii) For admission to BAMS/ BHMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(iii)For admission to B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

(iv)For admission to BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates should have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination, in addition to the condition as stipulated in clause 6.2.1(a(iii)) as per regulation 5 of Minimum standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course (BVSc & AH) Regulation, 1993. Relaxation in marks is permissible as stipulated in clause 6.2.4.

(v) Eligibility of BSc. Degree holders : Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses.

(b) Engineering Courses:
(i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.

Architecture Course :
(i) Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.:
10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2014.

Mode of submitting Online Application : cee.kerala.gov.in
(a) Online submission of application is required to apply for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture). If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

(b) All candidates are required to apply online through the website cee.kerala.gov.in for the Entrance Examination for admission to Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Engineering and Architecture Courses.

(c) Application Fee :
General candidates – Rs.800/-
SC/ST candidates – Rs.400/-

Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two following methods:
(i)Security Card : Security Card, Prospectus and an envelope can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs.800/-for General & Rs.400/- for SC/ST as the case may be), by cash. List of Post Offices that issue Security cards and Prospectus is appended to this notification. Security card will not be available at the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Security card consists of a KEY NUMBER, which is inside the Security panel and not visible before scratching the silver panel. There is a Serial Number on each Security card. The Key number and Serial Number are unique and are required for filling up of payment details in the online application.

(ii)Demand Draft : Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date and time for receipt of the Print out of the Application :
The Print out of the Application and other relevant documents, to be submitted with the Application, are to be enclosed and sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations supplied along with the application form, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 05.02.2014 (Wednesday), by Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post. Completed Applications will be received in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.

  • I sent the KEE 2014 Engineering application on 14/1/14 but I came to know from track and trace that its delivered on 07/02/14 2 days late. Will they accept the application due to late as the application status bar not yet green. When the status bar will become green.
