UTTARAKHAND POST GRADUATE MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION-2014 :
U.K.P.G.M.E.E.-2014 For admission to MD/MS/MDS/PG Diploma Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges of Uttarakhand against state seats/state Quota seats in the Academic Session 2014-2015

The Government of Uttarakhand via its order No 3379/XXVIII(1)/2013-150/2005-II Cover dated 27.12.2013 assigned the task of conducting Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination for the session 2014-15 to the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, district Udham Singh Nagar, at Pantnagar only on dated 30.01.2014. This competitive examination is meant for admission to MD/MS/MDS/PG diploma courses in various Medical and Dental colleges of Uttarakhand, for its state Quota seats for the academic session 2014-15, details of which are given in this information brochure at respective chapters.

IMPORTANT DATES :
1. Date of availability of online application forms : 01.01.2014, Wednesday
2. Last Date of submission of online Application : 20.01.2014,Monday
3. Last Date of submission of downloaded Hard Copy of Application form with ID proof & Bank draft of Examination fee By Speed / registered post/ in person : 24.01.2014, Friday
4. Date of Entrance Examination : 30.01.2014, Thursday Time of Entrance Examination : 02:00PM to 05:00 PM
5. Declaration of result on and before : 14.02.2014, Friday

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA’S FOR UKPGMEE-2014 :
The Competitive Entrance Examination shall be open to such candidate, who:
1 Is an Indian citizen.
2 Has passed the M.B.B.S/B.D.S Examination from a Medical/Dental College, situated in Uttarakhand state and recognized by the MCI/DCI.
3 Has completed/will be completing Compulsory Rotatory Internship training on or before 31.03.2014. No request for time relaxation in compulsory Rotating Internship under any circumstances will be accepted.
4 Registration with M.C.I. / Uttarakhand Medical Council / D.C.I. / Uttarakhand Dental council is utmost necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling and admission in allotted college.
5 A candidate can register for and appear in UKPGMEE-2014 only once in the academic year 2014-15.
6 A Candidate who is already admitted to any Post Graduate Medical/Dental course in any Medical/Dental college in the state of Uttarakhand will not be eligible to appear in the UKPGMEE-2014 till he/she completes his/her ongoing PG course and passes the examination.

EXAMINATION FEE :
Rs. 5500/- For General and OBC category candidates.
Rs. 3000/- for SC & ST category candidates.

Fees shall neither be refunded nor carried forwarded if the application for UKPGMEE-2014 is rejected/candidature is found to be ineligible or candidate is unable to appear in the examination.

Fee of Rs. 5500/- and Rs. 3000/- as described above will be paid in the form of bank draft drawn in favour of “Comptroller, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar” Payable at Pantnagar either by registered post/speed post or by hand at the designated counter of the office of the coordinator (Test & Selection), G.B.Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Lambert Square guest House,Pantnagar on or before 5:00 PM latest by dated 24.01.2014.

The complete application form must be sent to the Office of Coordinator (Test & Selection), G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Lambert Square Guest House, Pant Nagar, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand 263145 only through Speed/ Registered Post or by hand. Application forms sent through courier are not accepted.

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit their application forms well in time and to avoid despatching close to last date. The last date for the submission of downloaded hard copy of application form along with attested ID proof & Demand draft in the Office of Coordinator (Test & Selection), G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar is 24.01.2014. The application received either by Registered/Speed post or personally after 24.01.2014 shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
