Credit Card :
A Credit Card is a plastic Card which permits payment settlement against the predetermined credit limit permitted to the cardholder.

Credit Period :
nterest free credit period ranges from minimum of 20 days to a maximum of 50 days. However, fees / Service charges, as applicable, is payable for cash withdrawal / for usage at petrol bunks, Railway ticket booking, etc.

Benefits of Canara Credit Card :
Canara Credit Card provides absolutely interest free credit for a period of 20 to 50 days depending upon date of the purchase transaction. Revolving Payment Facility is also permitted to a cardholder at his request and at the discretion of the Bank.

Canara Credit Card provides bonus points for your purchases which are automatically redeemed on 28th February every year where bonus points earned is more than 300 points and in multiples of 100 points. Bonus points that do no qualify for redemption will be lapsed.

Complementary Insurance benefits :
Canara Credit Cards provide complementary insurance to the extent of `4 lakhs against the risk of death due to accident while travel by air, `2 lakhs against the risk of death due to any other accidents,(The amount assured is doubled in case of Gold Credit card); Baggage Insurance cover up to `25,000 and Purchase protection cover up to `25,000.

Hassle free Mediclaim cover at reasonable premium :
M/s United India Insurance Company in arrangement with Canara Bank issues Mediclaim policy to cardholder at a very competitive rate of premium. Cardholder can make payment of the premium with Canara Credit Card and avail interest free credit for 20-50 days.

It may be noted that the responsibility of Canara Bank is limited to payment of premium to the Insurance Company to the debit of Card account of the cardholder. The Bank does not hold any assurance about the quality of service of the Insurance Company and does not entertain any correspondence regarding any omissions and commissions of the Insurance Company in the matter of Mediclaim insurance policy issued by them.
