Ten Laboratory Technicians at a fixed salary of Rs.12,000/- (fixed) per month are required to be engaged on contract basis in the different departments of College of Veterinary Science. The prescribed qualifications for the posts are as under

Qualifications :
1. 10+2/ Senior Secondary of any stream.
2. B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with two years experience as Laboratory Technician or Diploma (Two years duration) in Medical Laboratory Technology with three years experience as Laboratory Technician.
3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language.
Job responsibilities :
** To assist teachers in conducting the UG/PG practicals.
** To handle biological material/ clinical samples and their ananlysis.
** To maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment’s / electrical gadgets.
** To maintain record for the purchase and use of chemicals, reagents and kits in the laboratory.
** To assist the teacher in charge to maintain the record of the laboratory reports.
** Any other duty assigned from time to time.
