CNC Programming & CNC Machining (Short Term Evening Course at NTTF Dharwad) :
Course Overview :
The course is being offered in view of the increasing demand for trained manpower growth in the industries, surrounding Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Pune, Nasik, Kolhapur, Goa etc. This course is conducted as part time course and classes shall be conducted during evenings and Sundays. The candidates who have put in a minimum Of 80% attendance during the course will be allowed for the examination. On successful completion of exam, NTTF certificate will be awarded.
Qualification :
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, and Automobile Engg, ITI-Turner, Fitter, Draftsmen are eligible for the course. (Final year students of Engg. College / Polytechnic and Technicians, ITI, CNC Machinist working in related industries are eligible to undergo training).
Duration : Duration of the course is 100 Hrs.
Course Timings : This is an evening course which runs from 5.30 PM Till 7.30 PM Daily.
Course Fees : The course fee is Rs 7700/- which is payable during admission. (Fees once paid will not be refunded).

Theory :
Introduction to Numerical control machine tools, structure & construction of CNC machines, Data storage media for NC/CNC, standards of signal transfer between system and numerical control machines, conventions in CNC, study of different types of CNC applications, standards of axis and motion control for CNC machine, Programming CNC machines using ISO and other systems standard.
CAD/ CAM Exposure :
Introduction to computers, Introduction to CADD, AutoCAD command, drafting of 2D-drawings. Introduction to CAM, 2D Contour, Pocket, Drill, Face, 3D contour, 3D Surface, Generation of NC Codes, Communication of NC Codes to CNC M/C. Simulations of CNC programmes for Turning and Milling applications, & Tests.
