Income Certificate :
What is a Income Certificate and Why is it Needed?
Income Certificate is provided to the applicant by the government confirming and testifying the annual income of the individual. This certificate establishes the annual income of the applicant for all legal and official purpose. The income certificate establishes the economic status of the applicant thereby making him / her eligible for various government welfare scheme and programs, etc.

List of documents to be attached with the form:
(1) Salary Certificate
(2) Residential Certificate issued by S.D.O/Govt. ID Card/Passport/Defense ID Card/Pan Card/Photo Ration card/Driving License/Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC)
(3) Income Proof from Gram Pradhan/Income Proof from Municipality Councillor
(4) Photograph
(5) IT Return Certificate

Domicile Certificate :
What is a Domicile Certificate and Why is it Needed?
A Domicile/Residence Certificate is generally issued to prove that the person bearing the Certificate is a Domicile/Resident of the State/UT by which the Certificate is being issued. This Certificate is required as proof of residence to avail Domicile/Resident Quotas in educational institutions and in the Government Service, as also in case of jobs where local residents are preferred.

List of documents to be attached with the form:
The prescribed application forms are either available online or from the local authorities, i.e. at the nearest BDO/SDO Offices. Enquiry may be done by BDO/SDO/Municipality if required. You will be required to produce following supporting documents
(1)Documentary Evidence of Rented House(Photocopy of Land Deed/Khatiyan/Rent Receipt Copy)/Documentary Evidence of Residential Land
(2)Residential Certificate issued by S.D.O
(3)Photocopy of Gorkha certificate issued from D.G.H.C
(4)Defense ID Card/Pan Card/Govt. ID Card/Passport/Driving License/Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC)/Ration Card
(5)Admit Card for Secondary Examination/Photocopy of Birth Certificate
(6)Certificate by Gram Panchayat Pradhan/Certificate from MLA/Certificate from MP
(7)One Attested Passport Colored Photograph
(8)Attested photocopy of call letter issued from Army/BSF/CRPF/CISF/SSB/ITBP/EFR
Women not originally belonging to a State/UT, but married to men who are permanent residents of the State/UT or who are eligible for the State’s/UT’s Domicile Certificate, are eligible to apply for Domicile Certificate.

Note:
Domicile Certificate can be made only in one State/UT. Obtaining Domicile Certificate from more than one State/UT is an offence.

Caste Certificate :
What is a Caste Certificate and Why is it Needed?
Caste Certificate is provided to an applicant by the government as a proof of one’s belonging to a particular caste. The applicant will be able to apply for following services :

1. Issuance of Caste Certificate :
For disposal of an application for Caste Certificate for SC / ST, five criterias are required to be fulfilled. These are
a. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
b. He is a permanent resident of West Bengal since 1950.
c. He is an ordinary resident at the address currently residing.
d. He belongs to the said caste / tribe.
e. His identity.
For disposal of an application for OBC Certificate six criterias are required to be fulfilled. These are
a. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
b. He is a permanent resident of West Bengal since 15-03-1993.
c. He is an ordinary resident at the address currently residing.
d. He belongs to the said community/ class.
e. His identity.
f. The applicant does not fall under ‘creamy layer’.

2. Revocation of Caste Certificate :
SDO will have the privilege to log in to the e-District portal and process the revocation of Caste Certificates based on hearings.

3. Appeal against Rejection of Caste Certificate :
Applicant will be able to apply for an appeal against the rejected Caste Certificate request.

4. Duplicate Caste certificate :
Applicant will be able to apply for Duplicate Caste Certificate , based on a valid Caste Certificate number.
