SUB: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN “CHECK MATE” THE ARMY INSTITUTE OF LAW NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2014
Army Institute of Law is one of the premier law schools in the nation providing quality legal education for a decade. The institute has scores of winnings and accolades in its non-exhaustive list of merits and achievements. These credentials are achieved in respect to national and international Moot Court Competitions. In addition to this, the Institute has also been a magnanimous host to numerous competitions which speaks volumes of our hospitality. With all these milestones in the journey of the Institute, we proudly present another rigorous mooting extravaganza.
With the rich history of the Institute’s rendezvous with mooting, it gives immense pleasure to announce CHECKMATE- THE ARMY INSTITUTE OF LAW NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION-2014 from 21-23 February, 2014. This will indeed be a perfect forum to bring together some of the most creative and intellectual young minds and witness their mastery on advocacy skills and written submissions.

Dates of the Competition: 21st February 2014 to 23rd February 2014
Last date of Registration: 24th January 2014
Last date of Submission of Memorial: 10th February 2014
We, therefore, seek your participation in this exhilarating event to make our endeavor a success. The Rules and Regulations as well as other details of the Competition along with the REGISTRATION FORM will be made available by 18th December 2014 and also shall be on the Institute’s website www.armyinstituteoflaw.org. The team cap for the Competition participating shall be 32 Teams and the same shall be on a first come first serve basis only.

REGISTRATION :
(a) Participation for the Competition is strictly by Invitation.
(b) The number of participating teams would be restricted to 32 on a first come first serve basis.
(c) The teams should register first through e-mail by sending a duly filled registration form to info[at]armyinstituteoflaw.org or contact[at]ailmoot.com (with subject Moot Court Registration) for confirmation of participation along with a copy of the demand draft on or before 24th January 2014 by 2355HRS. After the confirmation of participation the teams must post the duly filled registered form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500/ INR- drawn in the name of Registrar, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, payable in Mohali.
(d) The hard copy of the duly filled Registration Form and Demand Draft should reach the Organisers on or before 1st February 2014 at .or before 1600HRS.

(f) No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
