25th ALL INDIA MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2014 :
Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society is conducting the 25th All India Moot Court Competition for the Kerala Law Academy Trophy from 06-02-2014 to 08-02-2014. It is the twenty-fifth year since the Annual Moot Court Competition for the Kerala Law Academy Trophy has been launched. It is also one of the oldest competitions in the country and we are proud that it is acclaimed by the academic community as well as by the legal circles as a trendsetter and one of the most prestigious moot court competitions organised in our country.

The Competition has grown in prominence over the years and today it occupies a unique place in the National Calendar of Moot Court Competitions. More than 40 Universities / Law Colleges / Schools participated in the 24th All India Moot Court Competition held in February last year.

This competition is known for its professional set up and hospitality as understood from the responses of earlier participants.

We would be glad if you may kindly intimate confirmation of your team’s participation. Provisional Registration of the teams for the competition shall be done by sending email to kla [at] asianetindia.com / keralalawacademy@gmail.com. Upon receipt of email confirmation from us, please send duly filled Proforma for Registration along with a Registration fee of Rs. 5,000/- to be paid in the form of Demand Draft payable at Thiruvananthapuram, drawn in favour of “Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society” on or before 20th January 2014.

Date and venue:
The 25th All India Moot Court Competition under the auspices of the Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society (hereinafter the ‘society’) will be held from 6th to 8th of February 2014 at the Kerala Law Academy (KLA) Campus, Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram.

Team Composition:
a. The Competition is open to all Law Colleges and Faculties/University Departments of Law in India recognised by the Bar Council of India. The participation is limited to LL.B/ B.L./ B.G.L. students both in the Three year Scheme and Five Year Scheme. Students doing post graduation in law and students undergoing correspondence courses are not eligible to participate in the Competition.

b. Only one team from each participating colleges shall be registered for the competition. Each team shall comprise of three members (two speakers and one researcher)

Registration:
Provisional Registration of the team for the competition shall be done by sending email to kla[at]asianetindia.com/ keralalawacademy@gmail.com. Upon receipt of email confirmation from us, please confirm your participation by sending duly filled pro forma along with travel plan and a Registration fee of Rs.5000/-,to be paid in the form of Demand Draft payable at Thiruvananthapuram, drawn in favour of “Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society”, on or before 20th January 2014.
