Essential:
(A) Any of the Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part – II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal &
(B) Recognised Post-Graduate qualifications in a particular speciality or equivalent. Post-Graduate qualifications ;

(ii) MD/DA (Anaesthesiology),
(iii) MD (Pathology),
(iv) MS (Orthopaedics),
(v) MS (Surgery),
(vi) MD (Medicine),
(vii) MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology),
(viii) MD/DCH (Paediatrics),
(ix) MS/DO (Ophthalmology),
(x) MS/DLO (E.N.T.),
(xi) MD, DM (Cardiology),
(xii) MD, DM (Haematology),
(xiii) MD (Oncomedicine),
(xiv) MS, M.Ch (Oncosurgery) &
(xv) MD, DM (Neurology).
Desirable: Six months’ practical training as House Staff in any Government hospital or other recognized Institution.
Age: Not more than 40 years as on 1.1.2013
